Platform development
Building platforms that enrich the study of primary sources through technology
Our Product, Design and Engineering teams use the latest technologies to bring historical documents to life. Together, we give libraries and colleagues the tools to manage digitised materials, and help students and researchers discover historical information once buried in physical archives.
On the outside, we make sure our apps and sites are safe, secure, available and accessible. On the inside, we foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, allowing us to shape the future using our knowledge of the past.
Our Mission
Ensure the fast, predictable and uninterrupted flow of planned work that creates business value, by delivering stable and secure software, and minimising the impact of unplanned work.
Life in Our Team
-
Empowered, Autonomous & Accountable
Being in our team means participating in the full delivery lifecycle and helping us to deliver business value. Be prepared to bring your ideas to the table, to debate, to experiment, to fail and to learn, and to stand by your actions. -
Continuously Improving
DevOps means evaluating and understanding the flow of work across the full delivery lifecycle, amplifying and shortening feedback loops, and continuously experimenting, learning and improving. Every member of our team plays an equal part in this.
-
Developing Ourselves
Alongside access to training tools and courses, we ringfence 5% of our time for personal development. Each team member receives 13 days per year to use for for learning new tools, technologies, and practices that can bring value to our team and enhance their expertise.
-
Remote & Hybrid
Our head office in Marlborough offers a fantastic space to come together to collaborate, but we recognise that finding the most talented individuals means casting a wider net. That's why we offer both Remote and Hybrid working. We are committed to making a remote and hybrid team effective by experimenting with practices and collaboration tools. -
Team Days
We aim to come together for team days occasionally, where we focus on a specific problem to solve, eat pizza, and spend some quality time together. -
Technology from Sage
AM is part of the Sage Publishing Group, and our technology forms a key part of Sage's tech portfolio.
While our team operates entirely autonomously, we have the benefit of being part of a much larger technology community.
