Senior Regional Sales Lead

About the role
As Senior Regional Sales Lead in our International Sales Team you will play a pivotal role in AM’s growth strategy. You will leverage extensive experience, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of our products and services to drive revenue and exceed sales targets.
This role involves not only executing complex sales processes but also contributing to the development of strategic initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall success of International Sales.
The Senior Regional Sales Lead is responsible for establishing and nurturing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and consistently embodying our company values. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead by example, adapt to market trends, work across multiple territories and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales strategies.
In your role you will:
- Create and implement a strategic sales strategy and tactical plan for assigned regions and accounts, emphasising the need for a holistic approach to sales that goes beyond individual transactions
- Work closely with management to provide leadership within the sales team by setting performance expectations and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
- Build long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders across the library and faculty in support of negotiating and closing business. Facilitate building new and developing customer relationships to continue to grow the customer base
- Utilise data and analytics tools to track and analyse sales performance against targets and KPIs
We will be recruiting on a hybrid working basis. However, face-to-face collaboration is important to us. You should expect to travel to our head office in Marlborough regularly and you should expect 30%- 40% International travel throughout the year.
